#1 BLACK PANTHER (February 16th):
Black Panther is an American Superhero film and is known for casting the black as the first superhero. This film is highly based on the novel of the same name. Produced by the Marvel and distributed by the infamous Walt Disney, it is the 18th film in the MCU and directed by Ryan Coogler. The cast of the film includes Chadwick Boseman, Michael Jordan, Danai Gurira, Lupita Nyong, Daniel Kaluuya, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke, Letitia Wright, Forest Whitaker, Andy Serkis and Angela Basset as well. In the movie, T’Challa returns back being the king of Wakanda but only to find out that his sovereignty is now challenged by his adversary. This movie is known to have a great historical impact as the comic created back in 1966. Black Panther is the first superhero comic which became popular even with the African descent and is the first black character to get a stand-alone film in the MCU. Directed by the Fruitvale Station/Creed maker, the film speaks about T’Challa as mentioned who stays as the protector, a warrior and a strategic genius who deals with economics as well as the politics of the country. The film includes Natalie Portman, Gina Rodriguez, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Tessa Thompson, Oscar Isaac and Tuva Novotny as well. The film is going to be released on 23rd of February according to the schedule in the United States, China, and Canada by the Paramount Pictures and will be released on other markets through Netflix. Coming to the plot, this film is about a group of soldiers who enters an environmental zone and only one of them manages to come back alive after being injured. In order to save him, his wife, who is also a biologist, goes for an expedition into the zone to find out what exactly happened in it. A female ensemble led by our favorite Natalie Portman tagging along with Jennifer Jason Leigh; this film has been exciting for too long. I mean why not? I know that some of us are not a big fan of the mutant sharks but the Directors follow up after Ex-Machina will not leave you without expectations after what we have watched on the big screen. This movie is about the expedition of four different women who are mysterious and who enters into a paranormal zone, popular as Area X. As soon as they enter the zone, the film gets weird, fast and bumpy but will make you keep your fingers crossed.
#3 RED SPARROW (March 2nd):
Red Sparrow is an upcoming spy film, that has been based on the novel of the same name. The novel is written by Jason Mathews and the film is directed by Francis Lawrence starring Jennifer Lawrence, Matthias Schoenaerts, Joel Edgerton, Mary-Louise Parker, Jeremy Irons, Joely Richardson and Charlotte Rampling. The movie is scheduled to be released on March 2nd, 2018. The film narrates the story of an intelligent officer, Dominika Egrova and her collaborated with Nathaniel Nash, a CIA agent and as well as an American mole living in Russia who she has to expose. J-Law plays the Russian Ballerina who turns into a seductress spy in this espionage film. Joel Edgerton plays the role of Nathaniel Nash; her nemesis in the trailer where the intones would speak,

#4 A WRINKLE IN TIME (March 9th):
A Wrinkle in Time is a Sci-FI film based on the fantasy novel, written by Madeleine L’Engle; an American writer. The book has been published back in 1962 and has won many prestigious awards including the Newbery Medal, the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award, the Sequoyah Book Award and the Hans Christian Andersen Award. It is the first book to be enlisted in the Time Quintet of L’Engle followed by the O’Keefe and the Murry families. The book has been adapted twice, one by Ava Duvernay and the other is a television film of the same name. A 13-year-old Meg Murry is looked up by her teachers and classmates as a stubborn student known for creating troubles. Her entire family thinks that he is emotionally dissonant but is capable of doing greater things as it includes her scientist mother, her missing father who is also a scientist, her twin 10-year-old brothers, and another five-year-old brother. Murry is treated as the child prodigy in the family. As the film starts, we see Meg descending from her room to find her younger brother sitting at the table eating bread and drinking milk. During the conversation at the table, between Mrs. Whatsit and her mother; the topic of tesseract comes into the picture. Tesseract is later realized to be a concept that her own father has been working on before he disappeared. As a result, this young girl played by Storm Reid goes in searching for her missing father, played by Chris Pine. This film is all about time, space and the journey of mind through the universe. The film cast includes Oprah Whitney, Reese Witherspoon, and Mindy Kaling playing the magical trio as the guardians and the costumes by RuPaul will take you through the plot, very well.
#5 LOVE SIMON (March 16th):
Love, Simon is an American romantic teen comedy-drama which is again based on the novel written by Becky Albertalli. The original title of the novel was Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda which got changed to Love, Simon for the film as it stars Nick Robinson, Alexandra Shipp, Katherine Langford, Miles Heizer, Jorge Lendeborg, Logan Miller, Tony Hale, Josh Duhamel, Keiynan Lonsdale and Jennifer Garner. Robinsons plays the role of Simon, a gay boy in his high school who is forced to balance his family, his friends, his pen pal and a blackmailer who keeps threatening his secret out to the school. The film is scheduled to release on March 16th. Directed by Timothee Chalamet who has been successful in choosing the cast without a second thought; made this film look promising as an impeccable dramedy. Robinson as Simon Spier juggles to come out to his family and his friends. Greg Berlanti has taken a break from the DC Universe finally with the Arrow and Creek and started on this coming-age story which you should all give a try.
#6 ISLE OF DOGS (March 23rd):
The Isle of Dogs is an animated adventure stop motion American film, directed by the Wes Anderson. It is written by the same person, produced by the Indian Paintbrush house. The film has a cast including the infamous Edward Norton, Bryan Cranston, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray and Bob Balaban. The film has been premiered during the 68th Berlin International Film Festival and is released in the United States by the Fox Searchlight Pictures. Set in the dystopian world of Japan where dogs are quarantined on an island because of canine flue; the Isle of Dogs is about five locals; King, Rex, Boss, Duke, and Rex. These dogs get fed up with the existence of a boy, Atari Kobayashi who travels to the island for Spots, his own dog. Back in 2009, Wes Anderson directed the Fantastic Mr. Fox which had a packed influence on the genre. However, his ninth film is listed as the Oscar nominee and he’s now totally into the talking animals. The film’s plot is set in 2030 where the canine as a flue becomes an epidemic and therefore the dogs will be exiled to a dump island. The Anderson-ian dream vocal team enhances the interest of people as the film is all set to kick the theatres.
#7 PACIFIC RIM UPRISING (March 23rd):
An Up and coming action film indulged with science fiction, Pacific Rim Uprising is a directorial debut by Steven S. DeKnight with the script written by him along with Emily Carmichael, T.S Nowlin, and Kira Snyder. The film is planned as a sequel to the 2013 release Pacific Rim starring Cailee Spaeny, John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Adria Arjona, Burn Gorman, Charlie Day, Jing Tian and Rinko Kikuchi returning to the original roles. An ode to the original film, Pacific Rim; this one is all about giant robots fighting against the monsters. However, because of the heavy fan base, it has in America along with the Chinese people; this movie has been raising anticipations among the audience. John Boyega of Star Wars enters the franchise as a man who enters the battle against the beasts but on the other hand, it has the notable cast full of legendary cast and bold faces. Therefore, you can actually hope for an amusing storytelling packed along with popcorn fun.
#8 READY PLAYER ONE (March 30th):
Ready Player One is a live animated science action film written by Ernest Cline and Zak Penn. The film is also directed by Steven Speilberg, as it is based on the novel of the same name that got released back in 2011. The film has a wholesome cast including Tye Sheridan, Ben Mendelsohn, Simon Pegg, Olivia Cooke, T.J. Miller and Mark Rylance. Set in the dystopian period, the population has spent most of the time in a virtual space, named as Oasis. The founder of the Oasis bequeaths and dies and is the first person to find the treasure of this space with a hidden treasure in it as he plays puzzles and games as well as a race between a young man along with his friends. The film is scheduled to be released by the Warner Bros. The film is full of classic arcade games, pop references that are piled up in the thicker way. Back during the Stone Age, when the caveman and the other kind of prehistoric beings were roaming the earth, Chief Bobnar plays the leader of a tribe which hunts rabbits and live in a valley. One night, the tribe gets driven out of the valley by the Lord Nooth’s army who claims that the Stone Age is over and that the Bronze Age has begun and therefore, the hassle.
